He is passionate about diversity & inclusion, especially getting more diverse individuals into creative industries and as a result sits on the leadership team of the Black Writers Guild, an organization aimed at working with publishers to ensure meaningful and purposeful change in making the industry more inclusive at all levels.
Elijah was also an advisory board member of Creative Access, an organization aimed at helping young people from black, Asian, and other non-white minority ethnic (BAME) backgrounds, as well as those with a lower socioeconomic status to secure both jobs and paid training opportunities in creative companies.
